Millinery

Hats and head gear complete a character's ensemble.

A milliner can decorate an already made hat, or build one from scratch using a variety of methods. Above you will see a felt pulled hat, and two wire and buckram hats.

Dyeing and Painting

Fabric dyeing is invaluable to a costume designer. When you cannot find exactly what you are looking for in a fabric store, you can make it.

Above you will see a peacock silk painted scarf. More to come shortly from dyeing samples I have made.
